Friday, 9/24/10

Well it wasn't a good night for the "Dawgs."  Jenkintown came with the intent to win and that they did.  They gave the Bulldogs their first loss of the season 47-14.  Jenkintown also bought their "Pep Band"with them and the Bulldog Marching Band showed them who was boss..  The two bands battle back and forth a couple of times by playing the same song.  The kids in the marching band had a great time and enjoyed themselves.  They sounded great and the half-time show was awesome.

See everyone next week for Friday Night under the Lights.

Bulldogs Win!!!

The bulldogs pulled another win on Friday, 9/10 with a 29-12 victory.  Go Dawgs!!! It was a really good game.  Unfortunately, Matt Cookson is probably out for the rest of the season with an AC separation.  Feel Better Matt and stay strong.  That being said.  The  concession stand on the home side of the field is still looking for volunteers to open for Thanksgiving.  Please see Kelly Jopko in the concession stand if you would like to volunteer.

The PTO will be selling vintage style hoodies along with sling bags and water bottles as well as scarves.  PABS is selling Performance arts Tees, pj pants, blinkies, tattoos, magnets, scarves and various other tees as well.

PTO and Market Day will be having their bonus days "Pie Sale" to support the PABS.  The student who sells the most pies from each school will have the opportunity to throw a pie at both principals,Mr.Ferrara and Ms. Ruffing at the Thanksgiving football game during half time.

Back to School night for grades 6-12 will be taking place on Thursday, 9/16 beginning at 6:30 PM at the Middle Senior High School.  PABS will be there with a table of flyers for everyone to check out.
There will also be a calendar available on Friday night with a list for volunteers to work the PABS table.  I will be contacting everyone who turned in a form for their preferred times.

Well, that is it for now.  Come out and support our kids.

Dogs Win 40-32!!

The "dawgs" earned a victory of Boys Latin friday night.  The game was good and the weather was awesome.  The marching band to a great job during the half time show.  They even sounded good marching to the field.  The color guard performed  their routine and they did it very well and th3ey looked great with the airblades.

On a sidenote, the concession stand that supports the Girls' Athletics is in desperate need of volunteers this year.  They have posted a sign stating that they will not be open for Homecoming or Thanksgiving.  If anyone is willing to volunteer during either one of these games, please see Kelly Jopko in the concession stand.

Once again, PABS thanks you for your continued support.  Let's try to get everyone out to this Friday's game and support the band and the footbal team..
